Commercial and Residential Landlord and Tenant Disputes
Residential landlord and tenant matters concern property which is lived in, i.e. flats and houses.
Commercial landlord and tenant matters concern property which is used as a commercial building or land, i.e. offices, shops, factories, warehouses, land etc.
Generally, all landlord and tenant disputes, whether residential or commercial, are about the same issues. Some examples are listed below:
- Non-payment of rent
- Breach of a term of the agreement
- Eviction at the end of the term of occupancy
- Harassment by one party against the other
However, the ways of dealing with them are very different. It is important to get it right, especially in residential matters, otherwise the Court will not grant you the remedy you are seeking. For further advice and assistance please contact us
